Brokerage — coordinated across Europe
Close Protection Coordination
Vetted protection teams matched to the brief, deployed under a single point of contact.
The challenge
Sourcing a close protection team in an unfamiliar city under time pressure exposes the client to operators they have no basis to vet. Reputable teams are not advertised; the directories that are easy to find are typically the wrong ones to use. And once a team is hired, accountability often dissolves across borders.
Our approach
FRT does not deploy protection officers directly. We coordinate engagements through a partner network we have personally vetted and continue to re-vet on a rolling basis. The client deals with one FRT coordinator across countries, languages, and providers — and is billed once.
What's included
What's included
- Brief intake and threat profile (NDA available before any operational detail is shared)
- Matched proposal from the partner network — operators, licensing, experience, and pricing transparent in writing
- Single coordinator across the engagement, regardless of how many countries or partner teams are involved
- One contract, one invoice; we resolve cross-border accountability internally
- Post-engagement debrief and operator review fed back into the network rating
Engagement
Engagements range from single-day event coverage to multi-week European tours. We do not retain "house teams" — every brief is matched fresh against the network, which keeps the fit better and the cost honest.
Coverage
Coordinated across our European partner network — 12+ countries, with concentrations in the UK, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, and Monaco.
FAQ
Common questions.
- Does FRT itself provide the protection officers?
- No. FRT is a brokerage for this service line. We coordinate the engagement and own the relationship with the client; the on-ground execution is delivered by vetted partner operators in each country.
- How do you vet your partner operators?
- Licensing checks, background and reference verification, insurance and indemnity confirmation, language and discipline coverage, and operational track record. Each partner is re-reviewed at least annually and after every engagement.
- Will the same team cover us across multiple countries?
- Sometimes — for principals who request continuity, we coordinate a single team to travel with the engagement. More often, the right answer is a local team in each country with FRT providing the continuity layer.
- What is your typical lead time?
- We aim to confirm within 24 hours of brief for European engagements. Urgent same-day requests are handled directly by the operations centre — call rather than email.
- Are partner operator identities disclosed in proposals?
- Operator credentials and qualifications are disclosed in full. Trading names are disclosed to the level the client requires; some principals prefer to keep that layer abstracted, which we accommodate.
- Can you work alongside an existing in-house security team?
- Yes. We are often retained to extend in-house coverage into countries where in-house teams do not operate.
